"We at Mershon's Cidery would like to thank Amy Hansen and the Cross Plains Chamber of Commerce for their support in the economic development of our business. The events that we have attended, the business fair in the fall and the recent annual chamber celebration, have been great networking tools to get to know the community in Cross Plains and talk with other local business owners. We look forward to working with the Chamber of Commerce in the future as they have been so helpful to us as a fledgling business. Thank you"

"Home Security of America (HSA) joined the Cross Plains Chamber about 1 year ago and it has been a great decision! Being involved with the Chamber has helped our company network with other local businesses and leaders in the community. It has been particularly exciting to have HSA employees volunteer for Ambassador program and assist with local events. Networking opportunities and planned events have helped our company get recognized in the community which in turn has helped recruit talent to our organization. It has been great to be part of the Chamber for the last year and we look forward to a long partnership with the Village of Cross Plains!"

“I joined the Cross Plains Chamber 4 years ago and have found that I have increased my health insurance business through the many networking opportunities that they have offered. I have been able to assist many local customers with their health insurance needs. I have found the educational meetings to be beneficial to my business and have enjoyed the professional relationships and friendships that I have developed through my membership. I have also learned, through my time on the board, how important it is to support our local businesses and to volunteer my time to help Cross Plains businesses grow. It has been a terrific investment for business development and future growth potential”

"We have been members of the Cross Plains Businessmen and the Cross Plains Chamber for 20 years. It is our belief that you can not be a business that survives in today's economy without being in touch with your community and the business's which support the community. The Cross Plains businessmen's and the Cross Plains Chamber have helped us to work towards accomplishing that goal. The Chamber also offers opportunities to meet other business's as well as bring the community together to enjoy the great things Cross Plains has to offer. Things like the tour of Plastics Ingenuity plant, socials at the bank, informative meetings, the chicken BBQ , and golf outing give each member an opportunity for education, and involvement. They also help members to find ways to better their own business, and meet new people, which in the end can improve the bottom line of each and every business. The chamber also offers opportunities to help improve and grow our community by being involved in the board or committees such as the business development committee, events committee to name a few.
When we started our Culver's business 20 years ago, we were told that 75% of restaurants fail. We were Culver's # 6 store and had no track record at the time. While we put alot of hard work to get it where it is today, it was the tremendous support of our community, our business's, and our chamber that helped us every step of the way and for that, we are very thankful.
This year when I received the volunteer of the year award I was shocked. I know for a fact that there are many good people in this community who contribute each and everyday to make Cross Plains a great place to live, and a great place to raise a family. While I know that we are all busy people and time is so important to all of us, it is my belief that investing time in the Chamber is one way to see good things in Cross Plains continue to happen for many years to come."

"I have worked at the State Bank of Cross Plains for the past 27 years. I wanted to get more involved with the business community by volunteering to step onto the Chamber Board. I have enjoyed my time on the board. Besides residing in the community, by being involved with the business community I have made new friendships, I have learned more about the businesses in and around the Cross Plains area. I realize more now than ever what an integral part of our community our businesses are. Even though my time on the Board is over, I am still volunteering my time on the Chamber Event team. I also want to help where I can when our community moves closer to the Highway 14 construction to ensure that we are all working together to keep our businesses in town going!"
