Throughout the year the Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce offers opportunities for members to socialize, network, and meet with other Chamber Members and guests. Members are invited to all Chamber functions.
Business Development and Marketing Opportunities
Chamber membership provides ample opportunities for member promotions, and utilizes relationships & resources locally, regionally & statewide. We promote and partner member business via a wide variety of sources such as our Annual Business Fair, Department of Tourism, MadRep, New Resident Welcome Packets, Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, The Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives, Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corp, and In Business Magazine.
Community Support and Donations
The Chamber supports the Cross Plains Community in many ways, hosting family events such as the Memorial Day Chicken BBQ each year. We have been a leading in supporting projects such as the Rosemary Garfoot Public Library and the American Legion Memorial Fund. We also offer a scholarship program for local high school graduates.
Chamber Newsletters & Eblasts are sent regularly to communicate upcoming events and other items of interest. Contact Amy Hansen if you would like to advertise or have something of interest to be submitted. We highlight new and existing members in newsletters as well. The newsletter is a great way to promote upcoming events, awards and recognitions, and general information about your company.
The Chamber Website, crossplainschamber.net, has a directory of all members as well as regularly updated postings of upcoming events and information of what is happening with local businesses and the community. A section has been added to post updates for the construction projects. Our website gets an average of 50 hits daily.
Member Referrals and Use of Chamber Logo
We recommend our members and their businesses to all who request information about the area.
CPACC is now utilizing ChamberMaster, the leading Web Based Member Management Software for Chambers. Members have the ability to customize their business information which then feeds to the Chamber website. Business description, hours, social media accounts, hot deals, events and hiring positions are a few of the things that can be utilized to draw traffic to member businesses.

Reconstruction projects continue to create an opportunity to recreate our community, build on the beautiful resources we have, build business vitality, and create space for people to come together. We believe in our community. The Chamber will continue as a lead role in this development by communicating and partnering with the business community, Village, Department of Transportation and others.

Ground breaking, grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies available to members upon request. Training opportunities with access to a diverse pool of expert speakers.
“Chamber Bucks” are a great way to keep shopping dollars in Cross Plains. Chamber Bucks are versatile and can be used in many ways such as incentives, thank you gifts, referral programs, employee bonuses to name a few. This is a member only benefit as Chamber Bucks can only be redeemed at Chamber member businesses (listed on the bottom of the Chamber Buck). Chamber Bucks may be purchased at the State Bank of Cross Plains or through Amy Hansen.
