Please Support Your Local Community Chest
The Cross Plains Community Chest began back in 1949 when members of the CP Civic Club met with religious, civic and organizational community leaders to establish one drive each year for many organizations and local needs.
Today, the CP Community Chest has the same purpose--helping worthy organizations outside of the community and also providing needed local services through a yearly drive.
The campaign for monetary donations centers around late fall, but donations are accepted any time. Checks can be made payable to the CP Community Chest and dropped off or mailed to the State Bank of Cross Plains.
Allocations for local organizations are: Swimming Pool Instruction Program, Youth Activity Programs, Senior Citizen Programs, Bloodmobile Drive, Girl,Cub and Boy Scouts, Special Olympics, Local Hardship Assistance, NW Dane County Senior Outreach Progam, etc.
Allocations for Other Organizations are: American Diabetes Assoc., Wisconsin Heart Assoc., MARC, American Cancer Society, Black Hawk Girl Scout Council, Friends of
