Networking Opportunities
Throughout the year the Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce offers opportunities for members of the community to socialize, network, and meet with other Chamber Members and guests. Please let Executive Director, Amy Hansen know if you would like to host an event, or sponsor food or drinks for one of the meetings.
Community Support & Donations
The Chamber supports the Cross Plains Community in many ways, hosting family events such as the Memorial Day Chicken BBQ and Santa’s Visit each year. We also support the community by making donations to worthy causes such as the Rosemary Garfoot Public Library and the American Legion Memorial Fund. Each year we also offer a scholarship program for local high school graduates.

Bi Monthly Newsletter
Chamber News and Notes are published every other month. Contact Amy Hansen if you would like to advertise or have something of interest to be submitted. We highlight new and existing members in each newsletter as well. The newsletter is a great way to promote upcoming events, awards and recognitions, and general information about your company.
Chamber Website
The Chamber Website has a directory of all members as well as regularly updated postings of upcoming events and information of what is happening with local businesses and the community. Please contact Amy Hansen if you would like to advertise or have something to share on the website.
Chamber Bucks
“Chamber Bucks” are a great way to keep shopping dollars in Cross Plains. Chamber Bucks are versatile and can be used in many ways. Several businesses have purchased them as incentives for employees, as thank you gifts, for use in referral programs for customers, employee bonuses as well as many other uses. This is a member only benefit as Chamber Bucks can only be redeemed at Chamber member businesses (listed on the bottom of the Chamber Buck).
Chamber Bucks may be purchased at the State Bank of Cross Plains or through Amy Hansen (please contact Amy if ordering quantities of 10 or more).
Health Care Plans Offered to Chamber Members
The rising cost of quality health insurance is a foremost concern of many area businesses. Small businesses in particular are impacted by rising insurance costs.
In an effort to better meet our members' needs, the Cross Plains Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Dean Health Plan & Group Health Cooperative- SCW.
The Chamber Health Plan benefits include:
Chamber insurance plans provide cost effective solutions by pooling chamber member businesses together. Members receive a 3% discount on premiums and renewals are developed by combining the medical risk of all participating businesses. Local businesses are working in partnership to help keep costs down.
The goal is to provide competitive insurance rates and stable renewals for small businesses.
Application forms must be completed by those seeking coverage. Even if you are not currently a member of the chamber you can receive rates. There is no obligation to enroll in a plan. But if you choose to enroll in a plan, chamber membership is required.
